The article you linked had a warning to not uninstall the final Exchange server as that would remove attributes from AD. That's the impression I was under, maybe I misunderstood your comment about that causing an issue when migrating AD to AAD. Obviously uninstalling Exchange would affect recipient management, but does it have an impact on user management?

Sorry for the late response. You are correct - you should not actually uninstall Exchange - but you can power it off if it's the last server and you've moved everything out including connectors etc. You effectively only remove the hybrid element

BillyScott as katos pointed out yes Kerberos signing is enforced in this round of updates.

I can also come back after the AD updates last night and say that it had zero impact on our business this morning. So far everything is business as usual.

s3gunzel Thanks for the feedback! This is how I also feel, however in discussing it internally we got slightly concerned that we'd be missing out on SEO content. BUT we also know that the audience we actually want doesn't want to deal with end user support stuff.

I don’t believe that having SEO content for support requests is a good idea - cos you’ll just get more support requests. Which you don’t want.

I would, but unfortunately given our client base something like RustDesk just simply doesn't work for them.

Love that I get to turn those clients away. Use our tools for us to access your computers, or go away. Make it someone else's headache.

I don't generally need to do remote support. The relatively few clients that I have for remote support use what I tell them to. When explained that I don't need to pay "holy hell dollars" each month as a subscription, which drops the price of their service, they generally come round.

tankerkiller125 I get what you mean there, I've had the same experience.
I can make the app run at peak load at least, and then we're scoping for like 50 devices on a site, so the bandwidth of the app on one machine multiplied by 50 should get me there, it's just working out how to monitor.

The best I've got is maybe putting a PC on a bench and setting up a network just for it, then running PRTG (or similar) on that network and then taking the peak as the per-device load? Sounds like a PITA... though I can't think of anything better atm

katos Yeah, I wish that all my domains were supported by Cloudflare, but they aren't yet. Luckily I just completed transferring all my incompatible ones to Porkbun, took me all of 10 minutes and the transfers completed in like 30 seconds once I approved them from the email Google Domains sent me.

I honestly would love to see Googles internal analytics dashboard for their Domains products right now. Number of registered domains is probably dropping like a rock.
